The first time I stood on a stage was at a Hey!Say!JUMP concert. Until then I’d never even seen a concert, so I didn’t know what the atmosphere would be like and I was super nervous before the start of the concert, but in fact it was totally fun to appear before an audience. From now on I’d like to appear in a lot of concerts and dance. Dancing isn’t just about motions; if you aren’t aware that you have to exhibit everything beautifully, it won’t work, and that’s really difficult, but as the sempai teach me many things, I do my best every day and keep practicing. Also, to make the dream of appearing in a drama, which I’ve had since I joined the juniors, come true, I’ve been studying acting, and I’ve been doing my best at singing… I want to do lots of things! Otsuka Yuya:
I auditioned because my father’s big brother said that: “it’ll definitely be cool” (smile). Since I entered the juniors, I have dance lessons and rehearsals every day, so it’s a lot harder than I thought it would be! But I’ve made new friends who make the work fun. Until I entered the juniors, I didn’t have any experience with dance, so now I’m really working hard. Also, at Hideaki Takizawa-kun’s solo concert I was given the opportunity to be a chibi ranger, and that makes me super happy! My goal is to be put into a unit and sing original songs. I’d like to try to be like KAT-TUN and sing in a cool way. I’m doing my best, so please support me!

Because I admire Tomohisa Yamashita-kun, Jin Akanishi-kun, and Ryosuke Yamada-kun, I sent in my own application and joined the juniors. I’ve been able to appear in a few concerts and stage-plays; dancing before a massive audience at a concert feels really good, and stage-plays are challenging and full of tension in a good way… I’ve realized the joy of each.
