stamps

  does anyone have experience with the clear stamps/stamp blocks?

i'm not all that smart and i bought a whole bunch from different places before i actually tested them out.

then i went to use them [i tried a regular ink pad as well as markers which work on regular rubber stamps] and they stamped all.. blotchy.

i did some research and one site said to use a fine grit sand paper or a pink eraser.

i'm just afraid that it's not gonna work.

anyone have any suggestions? experiences? success stories?

also, if they work well with paint?
