Maia walks up beside him "hey" she says in a hoarse voice. Her eyes are bloodshot, her face is swollen from crying. She is not smiling but she couldn't walk by without saying hello.

"Maia, what's wrong?" he asks her curiously almost boarding on concern in his voice. He sees that she looks liks she's been crying, he's confused but rather concerned about her.

"Sara." Maia says her eyes welling with tears again. "Bad dreams all night."

He frowns and runs a hand over his stubbled chin with a thoughtful look on his face, "Bad dreams? Of what, possibly?" he inquires sweetly, only there to help.

Maia leans on the side of the building shaking her head. Her voice is hoarse as she finally answers. "Dead. Laying in a pool of blood." Maia starts to cry. "He-her eyes were empty Justin."

Justin's bewildered by her sudden tears and he embraces her into a deep hug, trying his best to calm her down, "Sshh. Sshh. She was here today, sugarplumb. All is well, you see?" he picks her face up in his hands, "No need for tears." he says soothingly.

Maia clings to Justin like a life line. "Sh- she was dead, in my dream. All cold. All gone." Maia whole body is shaking now. "She was dead. It was so real. I- I couldn't stop seeing it."

Running his thumbs under her eyes, he pushes the tears away and lightly kisses her cheeks, "Darling, it's alright, love. It was just a dream, just a dream." he reassures her lovingly, "It'll be alright." he whispers almost intimately, feeling like he could heal her with just his voice.

Maia moves closer into Justins arms, her head down on his chest. Her eyes are closed she quietly sobs. "Oh Justin. It hurt so bad to see her like that. It felt so real. I couldn't tell if it was a dream or if it was what is going to happen." Maia stays in his arms without moving.

Putting his hand on the back of her blonde head, he lets her sob out her emotions to get them all sorted out. He rocks her from side to side, stroking her hair gently.

Maia's tears start to quiet now. "I don't know what to do. I don't know what to say to her." Maia starts trying to stop crying now.

"I say, you send her a lovely little note..Inviting her to dinner in the field where we were the other day, I'll make the food. When the moonlight comes, you two can watch those beautiful Arabian White Roses bloom.." he says softly, all crafting this as he goes but he knows it will work.

Maia shudders softly sniffing now. "I, I would rather I ask her in person. I would like that though. Your so sweet Justin. You really are." Maia stops crying openly now, tears are still there and she looks terrible having not slept the entire night. "How are you today?"

He shrugs weightlessly for a moment, "Doing alright, I suppose. Trying to plant some African greenbeans, terribly nasty to plant, I'd say." he stuffs his hands in his pockets in an embarrassed gesture. Always a 40 year old nothing, Justin.

Maia is grateful to have something to take her mind off of Sara in that capacity for a moment. "Why nasty?"

"Nastily dirty they are, took a whole bloody barrel of sod to just plant them in the ground." he makes a muffled sigh, "Took me all bloody night last night." he smoothly takes a hand out of a pocket and runs it through his hair, although it's thinning, "I was thinking Maia, of going back to Africa next weekend.." he trails off not wanting to complete the thought.
