I agree with everything you said about Juno! I'm sure you well know that I loved that movie to death, 'cause I wouldn't shut up about it, but that doesn't mean I can't also think critically about it. I wouldn't change a word because Diablo Cody's style deserves to infuse every bit of it, but - yes. I agree.

I have thought this a LOT! And I am not sure why they never even touched it. I can see that that's not really the point, so they didn't really think it would be productive to spend screen time angsting about it because it should be understood ... BUT on the other hand, young people who go see movies should learn about condoms. And how to insist on them even when your sex partners really, really don't want them. (I'm actually not quite sure how to do that myself, yet. Hence my being on birth control!)

I love "Start of Something" and "Raised by Wolves" too! But "Rise Up in the Dirt" has a special place in my heart. I was SO ALL ABOUT IT for ages. :D

And Stephen Colbert is fantastic. Just fantastic. :D
