I have been in Sf for a few days and it is so nice to be home..
Super busy trying to find an apartment. I am trying to get a little studio close to downtown unfortunately my credit is not so good but I think I might be able to pull it off. I went to Citi Apartments and filled out and application the rental agent said he had to go over a few things on my credit report with his manager but that he thought it should be OK. So hopefully he calls back today and I can go look at some apartments. It would be nice to be able to move in next week and have a few days to get unpacked and settled before I start work.
Ticketmaster put my start date out a week which is fantastic as I was suppose to start this monday and that would have been tough. They also are setting it up so I am being re instated rather than re hired meaning I start with all my benefits and seniority. They finally sent me a copy of my offer letter and as much as I am excited to be going back to work there it was a little disheartening seeing my salary on paper. I don't need much money top get buy which is good cause they aren't giving me much. But honestly I really am excited to be going back to work there. I have started buttering up dtk to let me go back to work at deathguild
although probably will be a month or so before I am well enough but I miss that job a hell of a lot too. Besides
having a chance to to hang out with David there are people I only really see there that I miss.
Went out thursday to the DNA to say hello to some folks but was to tired and sore to make it out last night. I have been walking a hell of a lot during the day 4 or 5 times what I have been doing up until now which gives me hope that my stamina is coming back. Yesterday I was all over town and even took a bus and two trains by myself which was a little scary as I almost took a dive on the bus but knowing I can makes me feel OK about not having my scooter.
The day me and Rob (wussy #13) got here we loaded up my scooter to be shipped back to seattle where Jeff (wussy #2) is going to rebuild it which makes me really happy. When we went to pick it up though I got a little
nauseous I had seen a picture of the damage but in person it was much worse. I will post some pics soon.
If you are in SF and I haven't gotten in touch yet please know I am crazy busy trying to find a place to live and get my shit together for work.
