Oh, that was perfect! Better than anything I could have thought up. I love your interpretation that, in their world, any kind of reassurance that everything's fine would be a lie. So sad, but true. I'm usually not a fan of the boys outright says ILU to each other because it doesn't feel in character, but here it really, really work. Cause if nothing else is true, that always will be.

:D thank you so much! I just loved the prompt! And I know, I NEVER EVER write the boys saying 'I love you', it seems off lol but here it just kind of...happened? I got to the end and was like, "dean needs to say something that is and always will be a truth for him" and out popped the taboo 'I love you' lol ;)
