Lovely fic! I always enjoys fics from this time in their relationship, as they are reeling from John's death. Can't wait to find out Sam's fate. :)

Great start. I'm such a sucker for stories set in early season two. There's just so much heart break and sadness and loneliness and I think you nailed that here. Can't wait for more.
