Wow. Ferry Beach is the best thing that has ever happened to me. And as much as I would like to elaborate, I can't, because it's too amazing to put into words. One thing I can say, though, is that I helped build a house with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland. And I got hit on the head with two beams and a truss for the roof. It was great :)
Being home is always lovely too. Nothing like coming home after not sleeping for 36 hours, and sleeping in your own bed. It's SO lovely.
I'm sad I missed a ton of World Cup matches, and the first 7 stages of the Tour. I did, however watch France v. Italy. Shit, that was a wonderful game, but not really. No goals since the 19th minute. And WTF Zidane? A headbutt? I believe that corner referee didn't actually see it happen. Zidane is too smooth for that. But seriously, WTF?
Another WTF to Ullrich. I hate you just because you were an asshole to Lance, but now it's even more 'cause you're doped. Poor Jullich :( How horrible, and so soon in the tour. [sigh] Well GO GEORGE HINCAPIE! I really hope that Discovery does well, just to prove that they don't need Lance. He was big and all, but it was his team that got him there. YAY USA!
I am making beef stew. I feel accomplished. :)
Still haven't seen Dead Man's Chest. It sucks so hardcore, but I just can't go. I'm too tired, too mean, and too blah. Once I recover I'll go indulge in a little swashbucklin'
