Day 1-365 *Sunday Brunch at Home* May 4 2008
As an effort to post more-I am attempting to join the masses and post a picture everyday!
Ted and I decided to have brunch at home this Sunday. We spent yesterday morning shopping at the farmers market in union square (even Kelso came!).We picked up a lot of fresh local goodies.. Fresh organic tomatoes and fingerling potatoes-even home made goat cheese *yuumm*
Teddy whipped up some fresh home fries along with egg white omelets with fresh basil-tomatoes-onion-and goat cheese. I helped out by mixing up our version of a screwdriver.. grapefruit juice and “New Orleans” style absolute (Mango and black pepper- 2$ went to Katrina victims). We also brewed a fresh pot of “Dragonball Jasmine” tea (A Hong Kong fav)
Gnocchi was eyeing the food and soaking up the sun during the whole process-We all love Sunday fun days- To bad the next step is cleaning the house- but Perhaps we can take some time to head across to central park and enjoy the beautiful day-Maybe even have a picnic dinner?
