My name is Lizz Wilkinson and for as long as I can recall I have loved learning. To my delight, I have discovered that the older I get and the more I experience (through Girl Scouts and school functions), the stronger my desire to learn has become. Academically, things haven’t always been easy for me because I have been struggling with apathy and depression, but I still love learning. Through my brief time participating in the WCC Art Club as Vice President and head of the Event Coordination Committee, I have found that I absolutely adore learning about Art History, and I hope to transfer to the University of Michigan for this specialty. Afterwards, I have greater aspirations of working at a museum and being surrounded everyday by the paintings and their histories that I love. Receiving a WCC Foundation Scholarship would give me the opportunity to reach this goal.
