I'm not exactly sure what I want to take, or what the names of the concepts I want to learn about are. (This is why I want to take more math classes.)

I just see these relationships in class, and then all we do is talk about methods from getting from Problem One to Solution One, which is all pretty neat and all, but there are computers to do that sort of thing, and we spend very little time on why a particular method works.

We were going over the forward-Euler method in Diff EQ, and there was just this "click" when I saw where the formula was going. It was beautiful, and then my prof started talking about orders of accuracy and I wanted to be all "YES! LET'S TALK ABOUT THIS, THIS IS VERY INTERESTING!"

The concept of "one" is one that pretty much perpetually enthralls me-- the way we can count things and see them as units. (Perhaps this is more of a philosophic thing, but there is a concept "one chair", and the thought of someone actually coming up and defining things as "one rock" or whatever stuns me every time, in a good way.)

I'm really looking forward to Calc III, which in theory will clear up the outstanding issues I have about -- I think it's called "system handedness" according to my Physics textbook?
