The US hog-breeding herd on Dec. 1 was 0.4% larger than a year earlier.

The experts, unsurprisingly, were wrong again:

Eleven analysts in a Bloomberg News survey forecast a 0.7% gain...

Who knew there were eleven pig-counting so-called experts in the country?

Those were just the ones surveyed...there could be thousands of un-heralded pig counters!
