Hudson Republican Rep. Shawn Jasper... argued that it would be wrong to deny a citizen in the State House the same right to carry a weapon afforded lawmakers. After all, if a lawmaker starts shooting at a visitor, the visitor should be able to shoot back.

A few days ago the New Hampshire House of Representatives voted to allow lawmakers to carry concealed weapons on the floor of the chamber, and also to allow visitors to do the same in the halls and galleries of the State House.
