The Congressional Budget Office estimates that 78% of the proposed $800 billion
stimulus will be injected into the economy in 18 months.
If we divide that out to get $$$/household/month that comes to
$312/household/month
Not that that figure really means anything in terms of what the money
will or won't do, but perhaps it provides a way for brains that can't
really grasp what $800 billion means to get a sense of what is being
talked about.
