Summary: It's a drabble with minor angst, but a happy ending.
A/N: I wrote this at midnight, couldn't sleep until I did, I really like reviews *hint hint*
“Leave me alone.” Ryan said walking away from Simon as they walked through the Idol set.
“Ryan, why are you being such an ass about this?” Simon asked keeping up with Ryan’s brisk pace until Ryan stopped and turned to face him.
“I’m being the ass? You’re the one who ditched me last night to fuck some girl.” Ran turned on his heel and headed toward his dressing room at the end of a long hallway.
He opened the door and Simon said to Ryan:
“C’mon, let’s talk about this for a second, you’re being unreasonable-“ But he was cut off by the white door slamming in his face, the echo of it ringing in his ears.
Paula, seemingly coming out of nowhere, put a hand on Simon’s shoulder.
“What was that about?” She asked.
“He’s fussing over rubbish.” Simon pointing to the door separating him from Ryan
“Are you going to let ‘rubbish’ ruin this great relationship?”
Simon sighed walking further away from the room Ryan had locked him self in.
“Simon, if you break his heart,” Paula shook her head, “For once, put your damn ego aside and admit you were in the wrong.”
Simon turned back around, the hallway looking infinitely longer. He walked slowly and knocked lightly on the cheap piece of wood keeping him away from Ryan.
“Who is it?”
“Me.”
“Oh.” There was a pause, “What do you want?”
“I, well, I want to, uh, apologize.” Simon held his breath. He could do nothing if Ryan didn’t open the door. It finally swung open, Ryan looking at Simon.
“I’m sorry, darling, I really am.”
Ryan nodded,
“That’s all you had to say.” He said quietly.
This time Simon closed the door, keeping them in with each other and everybody else out. He turned the lock as he kissed Ryan, sealing their relationship.
