So today I re-embark on my journey down memory lane. Back to the best decade of my life, the only full one of my life, the 90's. No, i dont have a time machine, though thatd be sweet cept i dont have a flux capacitor so itd be all 4 naught. I'm gonna travel back (and i hope ull join me) to a better time via MUZAC.
Some time ago i decided that 90's music, the defining music of my lifetime, was the happiest stuff in the world(spec 90's alt rock, godly). I began pirating as many songs as i could, unfortunately this music was not only extremely good and happy, but its also incredibly easy to forget. There are so many one hit oneders (Oh knee Ders ??!?! It's ONE-DERS!!!) or one album wonders it really is hard to remember them all. Regardless it was a fun time, all pleasant and simple and such until one day on the way back from a LOWELL LEADERS CLUB MEETING (sexy people get caps) Frank-da-tank, mentioned to me how he had like minded feelings about said genre of muzac, the 90's alt rock that is. I nearly died, it was nuts. Jeff (the best advisor ever) has xm radio in our "van" and we listened to the 90's station, which piqued my interest. So that night i set out on a crusade (um, not really, im not even religious) to gather and relish as much 90's muzac as possible.
A list needed to be compiled. I would need bands who were prime in the 90s. I would need a trusty aid, and a portable computer. I would need a soda pop.
The Youngest Buc in Milton (Damon, my BEST FRIEND) begrudgingly became my sounding board/partner in rhyme. We compiled a list of as many bands, groups, rappers, singers, as we could remember. We forgot a lot. but from this list we compiled a 65 group bracket. This was wittled down to 64, then 32, 16, 8, final 4,2 and finally one band stood alone.
I will now share with u our original list. Some people that made the bracket arent even on this list, thats how hard it was to remember, but i need ur help. I need as many bands/groups/rappers/singers whatev as u can think of. The criteria are A). The band needed to have recorded heavily in the 90s, preferably wit their DEFINING years between 1990-1999. and B).They should be popular, or had been popular. Please
