You turn on your work computer and it says "hard drive not found."
Of course I work from home. My office is an hour and a half away and even if I were nearer by, "tech support" is the owner's grandson and is only there as-needed.
I backed stuff up when it kept undergoing those "thermal events" but that was maybe... six months ago?
So I'm trying to re-format the hard drive. The "recovery" didn't work so now it's just onward to a fresh start.
