The game: Each player of this game starts off with ten weird things or habits or little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged must write in a blog of their own ten weird things or habits or little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you must choose six people to be tagged and list their names. No tag backs!
This is far easier if I have ten questions I have to answer or at least a starting point. Pulling ten factoids out of thin air is much more difficult.
1. I made a totally emotionally driven decision to get my dog. After I had decided to get the dog, I went about figuring out logical reasons for buying the dog so no one thought it was a spur of the moment whim, which it sort of was.
2. If I am eating something like cereal, where there are large-ish chunks (think Peanut Butter Crunch or Cheerios,) I have to have an even amount on both sides of my mouth. I don't like eating three cheerios or five, I've got to have four or six. I do the same thing with mints.
3. I dislike cooking, I rarely cook for just myself, and I rarely have anyone over to cook for, but I am constantly cutting out recipes from magazines and saving them, as if I am ever really going to have an occasion to make Bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin. (although that does sound good...)
4. I have one foot that has normal skin (not dry or cracked) and that tends to sweat a little bit. The other foot is always dry almost to the point of cracking, and never sweats.
5. I love the act of exercising, but I do not have the will power (which is a strange way of saying it, since you shouldn't need will power to do something you enjoy) to actually make myself exercize.
6. I alphabetize books and CDs, sort them by size, genre, author, whatever, and keep them completely organized most of the time while my house is a total cluttered mess.
7. I suffer from near-terminal inertia. It is very difficult for me to get started doing anything, and once I get started, if I slack off just a little bit, it's just as hard to get back into doing what I started.
8. Someday I want to live on the East Coast. I'd love to have a little colonial house in New England.
9. I still don't eat the crusts of my sandwiches.
10. My greatest fear is being alone and my the worst source of irritation is feeling ignored.
Okay, I'm tagging Alios, Empress_Dragon, Faith Marie and Jer Wallace - it's not six, but tough crap.
(Bonus 11.) I only follow directions if I feel like it - and often I don't.
