Been awhile
Well it has been pretty busy couple of days around here. Been too busy with painting and pulling out carpet in my parents place to even really go on here. My parents thought it would be a good idea since both myself and my brother are here that they can put us to work on house renovations. So we've ripped out almost every bit of carpet on our main floor that goes from the entrance, living room, hallway, dining room and another hallway. And then they decided they wanted a brighter dining room so we spent the last two days painting. My older ssiter and her fiance just bought a place too so I got to help move a bunch of her stuff out of locked storage to this new place too. Woo hoo for manual labour.
Besides all the work, this last week was sidewalk days so that was kind of cool. Kirk was in town for HOJA so got to see him perform and hangout a bit.
Jeff and Karen came in yesterdaty to watch Nacho Libre. It was a really good show. Only Jack Black could pull of a Mexican munk who secretly wanted to be a Luchador. But I still haven't even seen X-Men 3 damn it. Probably won't get around too it either which kinda sucks but what can ya do.
Today is Corpus Christi, feast day of the Body of Christ. My church wanted to have a huge outdoor mass at the park and I would have got to be in the color party for the Knights of Columbus but the weather was against us so they canceled the big outdoor mass so they caould have it at the church. But today was my nieces first communion which was nice.
Oh and I leave for Cold Lake on thurseday for my Military Padre job. Very exciting, but since I'm excited the next couple of days are gonna go by sooo slow.
