Humidity is bad for my mind...

Hey there, all you cats and kittens!

Did I really just say that?

I'm in North Carolina (visiting my papa...he and my mom are the big D) and I think the humidity might be screwing with my brain...

I came on here wanting to write or talk about, well, something, but I've lost the drive. I'm tired. I'm going to write more of the fabled Avery story...

OH! Wait! I just finished two books! I'll talk about them.

So, I finally got Twilight, the book that so many teens have been swooning over.

And now I see why. It was a fairly good book (good enough that I might read it second time in the near future) and, as I'm sure most people did, I found Edward exscrutiateingly (I know I spelled that wrong) hot...I want to hit myself for succumbing to my teen fangirl side. I dreampt (sp, again) about him. Come on, that's just sick, even IF I've had dreams about Artemis Fowl before. But you probably didn't want to hear that. Ick.

The other book I finished was The Looking Glass Wars, which was fairly good, excepting that it was bit under my standard of reading. It was about Alice in Wonderland, though, and I love that Disne movie that they did on it (one of my favorites...ok, so nobody who's my age should have a Disney kids movie as their favorite, at least not in theie right mind, but what can I do? That Chesire cat is sexy ((ok, THAT was a joke)) )so I had to read it. It was still good. Just not, you know, amazing.

I'm also about half-way through The Book Thief, which is excellent, if not a bit slow sometimes. Very good though- I recommend it.

Looking For Alaska was wonderful as well (it just popped into my mind, because I read it a long time ago...)

Well, I'ma gonna get to bed, and work on Avery.

Sleep tight!
