Love is Long
Honeymooning is very hard work. Especially when you're with a healthy young lady like My Best Girl. Ha ha ha ha. We're working very hard at making a baby or two and just being in love. It's really wonderful to be here. I never thought I'd be so happy again. Once upon a time, I said "You can't reheat a souffle" and now I take that back. You certainly can. Although you might need a bit of help from the chemists!
I heard throught the grapevine that The Edge got married this past weekend in Ireland. I suppose our invitation got lost in the mail. I mean Bono was his best man and all that and Bono's a mate of mine so shouldn't we have been invited too? I'm a bit cheesed off that he decided to hold it in the same place as Heather and Me. Ireland, I mean! I mean couldn't he have been a bit more original than that? Like Hawaii or Fiji or Duluth, Minnesota?! That's the problem with everyone -- THEY'RE ALWAYS NICKING MY IDEAS! Oh well, maybe we just won't send them a very expensive wedding prezzie.
I've also heard rumours that Olivia might be selling Friar Park. If so, I will have to see if I can afford to buy it. I'm sure my Little Baby Brother's wife could use the money and it might not be a bad bit of property to own. I could even turn it into a museum to honour him. Or even better.. ME! Considering how much influence I had on him over the years, I think that would be a brilliant idea. When we get back, I'll have to give Olivia a ring and see what she thinks about it.
I had thought about going back early when I heard my baby girl Mary was mugged this week but Heather convinced me she'd be perfectly fine without her old Da checking up on her. I'm sure Heather is right that she'll be just fine and doesn't need my help. Heather is good that way, you know. She's always giving me good suggestions and even better rewards when I listen to her.
Speaking of rewards, I think it's time to go for an afternoon swim and then even more exercise, if you know what I mean. :::wink::
