I think that perhaps besides doing a tribute to Lin and my little baby brother, I ought to think about doing more tributes for more dead people that were important to me.
Spike Milligan and Harry Secombe, Ray Walston, Dudley Moore and Peter Cook, Billy Wilder, Ken Kesey, Gordon Dickson, Dale Evans, John Phillips, Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau, Stanley Kubrick, Morton Downey Jr., that bloke who wrote A Separate Peace, William Hanna, Doug Adams, Grady from Sanford n Son (even though I always liked Steptoe more), John Lee Hooker, Mr. Belvadere, Aaliyah, Troy Donahue, Milton Berle, Nigel Hawthorne, Tony Shaffer, Alec Guiness, Gwen Verdon...the possibilities are endless! I could even make it an annual event! I bet Heather would get on this right away. We could do it for charity and just fete dead celebrities everywhere.
The more I think about this, the more I like it. We could even make it in Lin and George's names. Now that would be a fitting memorial, don't you think?
