Okay- having holiday get together at his parents house tomorrow night after work cause the kiddos go to TX on Saturday for 2 weeks---which means packing & laundry tonight! LOL!!
Had a craptacular day at work- fair warning to people: If you bitch someone out and they are having a bad day? There *IS* such a thing as CALLER ID and they may call you back....
Lets recap my phone call! :)
Me: Ma'am, we have finished checking your vehicle- we werent able to duplicate the concern you brought it in for, the transmission is shifting fine. No leaks and tested okay.- I got it all washed up for you and can have the shuttle pick you up when you are ready, your total is $88 dollars.
Customer: What for?
Me: for diagnosing your vehicle.... the tech charges up to $88 per concern to diagnose the car.
C: What? I am pay $88 for you to DRIVE it and not FIX it?
Me: Yes ma'am- its $88 per concern- this was discussed PRIOR to you dropping off the car, you SIGNED OFF on the authorization
C: (yelling) YOU F***** LITTLE B**** I AM NOT PAYING $88 TO DRIVE A CAR- THIS IS COMPLETE CRAP- I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER VW AGAIN- ***** THIS! YOU AND YOUR STORE IS COMPLETE **** I WILL JUST TAKE IT TO ANOTHER DEALER....WHAT A B*****!
--and hung up on me---
Me:------Oh HELL NO YOU DIDNT!!!--- (dials her back up and the other advisors are LAUGHING at me at this point- must have been my expression!! LOL!)
C: Yeah?
Me: Uh HELLO? I dont believe we were DONE TALKING YET and that was INAPROPRIATE for you to hang up on me (Okay- I am shaking at this point cause I am so pissed off) I WAS EXPLAINING TO YOU what was going on with your car and why you are responsible for the $88 checkout fee before you decided to be RUDE to me and hang up on me.....
C: Okay?
(im thinking- "you freakin moron" at this point cause she is LISTENING to me instead of cussing me out again!!!)
Me: You are paying for a certified TRAINED tech to check your vehicle- if there are no codes in the car, he cant feel your problem with the transmission and its not leaking when he inspected it- you pay $88 period. If you want to come in to the dealership and ride with him, show him what its doing- ITS STILL $88... period.
(quiet on the phone)
C: Okay- I will pick up my car in just a bit.
Me: I will see you soon.
OHHHHH LEMME TELL YOU- I WAS HOSTILE and Im lucky my temper didnt get me in trouble but I had already been handed a dose of crap on a platter today and was completely fed up by the time she griped me out- I was fed up to my eyebrows and was DISHING it back out.....Grrr....and do you know she showed up, smiled at me, and said she would be in next week to ride with the shop foreman?

In other news, got the kiddos packed for TX (did I mention that?) and Im so glad its getting close to the end of the week and close to christmas! I am so done with people getting upset at prices and done shopping!!
