well I had a wonderful birthday.....
It was truly wonderful today! Brooke got me a coffee mug, I got SEVERAL phone calls, including a seranade from his grandpa singing me 'happy birthday'. In fact, today was such a GREAT day that TJ remembered to call me today and wish me a happy birthday! My 11 year old son remembered and called me from Dallas!
I got an ecard from my sister, phone calls from my mother (and a voicemail on my phone that just reminded me that I still need to check it).
I had a smooth day at work- followed by a wonderful dinner with his parents, a strawberry pie for dessert (thank you Rich!!) and opening presents. His parents got me a coffee mug (always good!) stuffed full of cash! Literally! I loved it! With our trip coming up, its perfect! I got some chocolates too! Yummy!
His parents kept making suggestions that Rich might need help getting my present out of hiding or that it was too big to fit in the car, etc.... well we headed back to the house and sitting on the table, wrapped with a lovely bow, was a TINY box. I looked at him and opened it up- and inside was a lovely pair of diamond droplet earrings! I do believe I squealed in delight! LOL!! They are lovely! I told him that was too much and he said I was worth every dime....*sigh*... I do love that man!
