I don't think there is anything in the world worse than a fake or half ass apology.
Always stand up for yourself and your beliefs. Don't take shit from people. Don't let people be mean, cruel, and even vicious to you. You don't have to stoop to their level and resort to meaness, but you don't have to sit quietly and take it.
