The past couple of weeks have been insane with schoolwork. Work has also been crazy too. I'm ready for Spring Break, which luckily starts a week from today!
Thanks to all of you who left encouraging words on the LJ and Blog about adding political science as a minor. I'm still not sure if I'm going to do it. That would be cramming a lot of political science classes to squeeze into my last two semesters. But I may still do it. Gotta think it through. What I may end up doing is going to grad school for political science instead of journalism.
American Idol has been great for the most part. A few people got voted off last night that I should did a very good job. I can't believe Bucky made it to the top 12. He is gross and can't sing.
Also gotta give a shout out to the new episode of the O.C. which was on last night. Jenn didn't watch it. Boo.
I watched some really good movies this weekend as well. I rented Rent on Saturday night and then went to see TransAmerica on Sunday in the Ham. Both really good! Felicity Huffman is such an amazing actress and seeing TransAmerica just made me love her even more!!! She was robbed of an Oscar. She should have won...not Reese Witherspoon. Also, Dolly Parton should've won for "Travelin' Thru." Great song...you should check it out if you haven't heard it.
I went book shopping on Sunday as well. I had gift certificates so I only spent like $7 of my own money. I bought a book on presidential elections, the Complete Works of William Shakespeare, the new Sandra Day O'Connor biography, and Barbara Boxer's novel "A Time To Run." I really wish Barbara Boxer would run for presdient. Boxer/Feingold is my dream ticket in 2008.
As always, you should check out PostSecret.com this week! This site is so amazing! Two of them really struck a chord with me, and one just made me laugh, partially because it was true as well. Who hasn't fantasized about Hillary Clinton? Here's a preview:
