Finally
After all those months, I finally found Hakuouki Movie 2!! omg... although it's subbed
I think after nyaa went down for a while,
a lot of the stuff that was released during that period had been stalled and was never being picked up...
maybe it's just my imagination but... seriously...
I'm having a hard time finding stuff... x.x
Athough I must say OVAs seems much more harder to find nowadays...
even if I were to give up on getting the "raw" version...
speaking of raw...
chinese subs are not raw people!!!
the chara might looks similar, but only Japanese version is considered as raw...
I was so mad when I was reading something online which said "raw" then I clicked in and read chinese...
same with files and anime that was listed under "raw"....
I mean... no one ever noticed or bother to correct them? >.>
I do start to question how many people actually enjoy reading raw stuff like me...
though my friends always yelled at me and said "that's cause you can understand it"....
well... honestly speaking I was once like all of you...
and language will only come through practice so...
you really think I could watch anime without sub with a snap of my fingers? -.-
I still remember forcing myself to watch it without subtitles for the first time and god I was so confused.
Luckily I did start off with something which I've already read the books,
so I was half guessing most of them...
but once you get used to it... it does come in a way...
just like how child start watching tv everyday and eventually they can understand it...
same theory...
Back to Hakuouki movie 2...
I've played all the games, watched all the anime...
I must say... I still think the movies are well maded...
the tv series was already well done considering it was based off a game...
instead of a "happy end with everyone", it picked Hijikata's route...
which to me, that was awesome cause I really hate how all the otome game anime all ended up flagging events but with no routes... >.>
the only complain everyone had with the tv series was probably it ended in a "normal end" way...
so many debates on whether Hijikata died in the tv series...which he probably did... T_T
the movie on the other hand although have shorten up with the historical events,
and based more on the oni side...which gave it a fresh taste.
it captured not only the normal route but also events from zuisouroku... with a dash of reimeiroku.
I thought I would be bored since I've read this story over and over again,
but surprisingly I wasn't. (maybe because I just love it so much? idk)
It was based on Hijikata's route again of course...
(beside charactor ranking, I think also because his route covers the whole shinsengumi history)
but I honestly voted for Chikage this time... lolol
I know I know... Hijikata and Chikage had always fought for the top spot in my heart and this time Chikage finally won... LOL
Since they dashed in a bit of zuisouroku and Chikage route into the story,
instead of "gone crazy" because his pride was damaged by Hijikata,
he was portraited more as a poor guy who watched over Chizuru...
and his love was never returned...
which made him super attractive... lol... ><
just like how everytime you play his route in the game, you love him even more...
he might sound so high and mighty but his gentlness is undeniably charming... lol
