Wow the weeks sure fly by fast.
Friday Night Dinner with Reyan was at the Pancake Parlour this week where we had a mime conversation with Lisa and Hakeem through the windows. Is there anywhere you don't see those two together? Then we loitered around until our 9:40pm movie that was the super amazing Superbad. It really was good with all the straight up humour about college guys wanting to get with drunk girls. I found it amusing that (as pointed out by Reyan) the guys in the movie could drive yet they were such bad drinkers, which is just odd for me because 18 is old enough here but so young in America. And that really didn't make any sense at all, did it?
Then off to Peter's house which made us feel all grown up because it's like we just decided to go somewhere, all by ourselves, and found the directions, all by ourselves, and drove there, all by ourselves. We only stayed there for about 30 minutes, as was the hour of the night before I was driven home to have my very last image of Reyan being him gorging himself on a burger. Nice :)
She gives me free samples of new perfume/cologne and cosmetics everytime I visit her :)
This week I scored samples of Daisy by Marc Jacobs and Rose Essentielle by Bvlgari.
Daisy
I love how all of Marc Jacobs' perfumes have simple names that explain exactly what they smell of. Daisy sort of reminds me of Be Delicious by DKNY because of the initial fruity/apple smell but it's got that extra soft hue that truly does remind me of picking flowers. Plus, the bottle is so art-deco, I can already see it on my table.
Rose Essentielle
Oh goodness, so romantic. It's like a Chanel perfume watered down for young girls that can't quite stand the strong husky scents but still want something that screams maturity and sophistication. Rose Essentielle actually does smell like roses, such a sweet, light scent.
