Was quite a good day for me mainly because my mum came back from her trip back to Malaysia, and of course she came bearing gifts :P Yes I know, I'm one very lucky girl and I realise that I get a lot of things that many people wouldn't so keep in mind that I never ask for anything, just incase you people think I'm some spoilt brat. Spoilt, yes, brat, no :)
So it seems that I've been lucky enough to score another diamond ring. Though not as extravagant as the one my grandmother (on my dad's side) gave me, this one used to my be mum's when she was younger but it doesn't fit her anymore so it's now in my hands. It's a very beautiful rose gold and to me a diamond is still a diamond no matter how big or small so I shall cherish this gift for a very long time. However now I have the slight problem of which ring to where because wearing both at the same time would just look thrashy but then again, is it wrong to want to carry part of my family with me all the time?
Through all of my attempts to persuade her not to buy me anymore Lancome Juicy Tubes, she came back with Lancome's exclusive Tropiques three pack. I can't seem to find a photo online as I think their only making it for a limited time to promote their new Tropiques perfume but I want to point out that three packs feel so luxurious as you're opening them. I've always thought that you can never have enough Juicy Tubes however these three have brought my count up to seven soo..no more!
I love the feeling of new lipgloss..so smoooth..
And while I can remember, I recently smelt a sample of Issey Miyake's new version of L'eau D'issey ie. A Drop on a Petal. I remember the old version as being a bit too mature and perhaps boring but as the Myer sales assistant shoved the card into my hand as I walked past, I found their new summer version to be so beautiful! I would say it's a very gentle fragrance and reminds me of Echo by Davidoff (which is my signature scent, girls, don't steal it :P) but with a much more lighter and fresher feel to it. And suprise surprise, it reminds me of a drop on a petal :P Too bad I'm broke and only found out about this gorgeous perfume after my mum came back from the airport.
Issey Miyake L'eau D'issey Summer Version;; packaging is quite beautiful too..
