So the Fifty Shades of Grey trailer was just released last week. There's a link if you want to check it out, because I started getting the html ready to embed the trailer into this post, but then I started gagging at the thought of that being on the blog. I've never read the books (and probably never will), but I always imagined the main male character to be hotter? I'm also wondering if this entire movie is an artistically-filmed porno and if they'll make the remaining two books into artistically-filmed pornos too.
I often wonder if people know the actual history behind Fifty Shades of Grey. You guys do realise that the entire series originated as Twilight fan-fiction? As in, some woman decided to write her own porno story about Edward and Bella because there wasn't enough smut in the Twilight series. She then managed to sell the story to a publisher by changing the names around. Am I the only person that finds this hilarious? I mean, there's fan-fiction and then there's really, really bad fan-fiction. And the fact that a badly written fantasy about having sex with Edward got published is really beyond me.
