How much does it scare people that I've been telling people how to design buildings for almost four years and I wasn't actually qualified the entire time? It's true, you need only be the world's greatest bullshitter in order to be a consultant. Kidding!! Being a consultant is hard work!! I am not replaceable, I like having a job!!
I finally graduated with my degree last Wednesday, three years after I did my last exam. Any future employer will think I failed half my classes and spent seven years in university. But the truth is, I got lazy (and graduated with Honours!). Standing between me and my degree was a 3000-word report on my reflections of work experience, which I completed in 2007. So it actually took me a whole seven years to write this report. I bet none of you can beat that level of procrastination!
The only reason I finally got off my ass is because the university informed me that I could not defer my graduation for longer than two years. This, and my bosses gave me two days off out of desperation. And I had already paid for my graduation two years earlier.
But finally, I am actually an engineer!!
