These images have been saved on my computer since the beginning of the year. That's how much I've neglected this blog.
Honestly though, this is one of my favourite dresses, so I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to put a photo of it on here. It's the perfect outfit for transitioning from autumn to summer and so, so easy to wear.
I stalked this dress for months on
Opening Ceremony, and put off from buying it just because you can never really be sure about fit and quality. But when Ken and I hunted down their flagship store in New York (after three days of hunting..) I saw it on the sale rack and it was all love from there.
Tapestry print, fit and flare cut and tassels. What's not to love?
I also love the sales assistant who took over from Ken's job and said, in a completely I-am-not-gay-I'm-just-a-New-Yorker-who-appreciates-fashion, "That is so adorable." Ken was too busy trying to figure out why everything in the store was excessively expensive. We still talk about the Opening Ceremony experience; he still claims the shop assistant was gay and that he still doesn't know why clothes are so expensive.
