Likely fashion mistakes..

Some of the more interesting things I've thrifted over the past two months:

Oversized nautical blouse, beige cotton skirt with cute wooden buttons, handmade floral bolero, off-white and pink striped blazer and brown pumps with odd coin detailing.

The striped blazer is, by far, one of my favourite finds and is my first foray into the androgynous shape. My mum claims she used to have a jacket just like it, albeit with pink and green stripes; I'm not sure how hot that would have looked. I have worn it once with the Boyfriend, and he insisted on enquiring, multiple times, my reasons behind wearing a tennis jacket.

I haven't had a chance to wear these goodies out much yet, due to exams, projects and such, however the prospect of Summer holidays is exciting. This semester I have found myself living in the same jeans, which doesn't make for a very stylish day, but is mostly necessary in order to blend into the engineering crowd. Tight clothing, short shorts, dresses, low-cut tops and any sort of shoe that makes a click-clack sound attracts attention. Most of the time I'm not concerned about what people think about my clothes, however when I'm running on minimal sleep and my skin is in the pits, I'd rather not have any heads turning. Here's hoping my closet gets more of an airing out in the next couple months.
