Something strange.

I poured myself a third or so glass of wine the other night when I was talking to Michael and set it on my nightstand.  I forgot to drink it.  Then, yesterday, I forgot to pour it out and I forgot to move two almost empty coffee mugs from which I had been drinking my lemon tea.  There was also a very small dish in here I had used for dipping oil. That was empty too. I know I sound like such a slob (because I am, and I never take my dishes out the night that I use them).

So, I got back last night and my room was hot and dark.  I reached for my computer mouse to move it so that the screen would light up and I accidentally touched one of the mugs. It was full.  This really bothered me as I knew it wasn't full before.  I sat online for a while, talking to Janson about wolves nstuff, then went to bed.  When I climbed into bed, I took off my glasses and went to place them on the nightstand next to bed and saw that the wine glass was filled with clear liquid.  Clear!  This was Shiraz, which is very not clear.  I stared at it and made what felt like the stupid perturbed face Tom Cruise makes in every single one of his goddamn movies.  I thought, maybe I didn't want it to get stained and poured water in it?  No, even I'm not that lazy.

I woke up when dispatch called me and asked me to work and looked at the mugs on my computer desk.  I haven't dumped them out because I'm utterly confused about them and don't want to do anything yet.  But then I looked at that little oil dish, which now has what looks to be about two or three tablespoons of water sitting in it.

This is a lot of mysterious liquid.

Where did the colour in my wine go?  Why is there extra water/stuff in these other dishes?  Does it have anything to do with last night's full moon?  The heat in my room?  The air wasn't on.  Did Jesus come down and turn my wine into water?  Did aliens abduct my dishes and then return them filled with expanding alien residue?

I want answers.
