So as I indicated in my previous post, I grabbed Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX and Resident Evil: Deadly Silence... ya know, that's just a cool way to work DS into the name. Just as cool as Metal Gear: Ghost Babel (GB) which Konami USA screwed up by calling it Metal Gear Solid (for the Game Boy) even though it isn't.
RE:DS is cool... a faithful PSX-looking/sounding version of RE1, right down the the infamous dub. The first person knife fights tho... that's pretty lame. This game makes the think the DS could also run a pretty solid (!) version of Metal Gear Solid, and I know Konami could probably come up with something better for the touchscreen to do.
SFA3:MAX varies... sometimes I can snap off moves with impunity... sometimes not so much. I wish that the "Capcom Fighting D-Pad" thing would have been included with retail copies, and not just from Capcom.com or in Japan... although I honestly doubt that I would apply it. ANYways, I blame the PSP's crap d-pad design much more than I blame the game tho, and it's about as perfect a version of Alpha 3 as you could ask for, especially for a portable.
Hmmm... maybe we need a PSP arcade stick! =)
