Seriously, how long did you think I could go without a bulleted entry?
- Happy birthday to the lovely and fantabulous
emcy!!!!!
- Read my Toronto recap entry. Sure it's long, but there might be a picture of you! And there are certainly poorly trascribed conversations with Rob "Pedosmile" James and Chad "Life Winner" Doucette. See? EVERYBODY WINS.
- I actually really enjoyed the Emmys tonight. Basically I'm in love with Stephen Colbert and John Stewart.
Stewart/Colbert exchange of the evening:
(Stephen is acting bitter while they're presenting an award [note: Barry Manilow beat out Stephen in the Best Variety/Musical Show or something like that earlier in the evening; Hugh Jackman was also nominated in this category for hosting the Tonys])
John: You're still upset about the Barry Manilow thing aren't you?
Stephen: I lost to BARRY MANILOW!!!!!! Singing and dancing are not performing!! I mean, Wolverine I could understand losing to, he has CLAWS FOR HANDS!!
And I maybe love Conan O'Brien, too. Umm and Wentworth Miller was presenting? WHO KNEW?! Bonus.
- Abercrombie and Fitch opened in the Eaton Centre this week and I may now be poverty-stricken as a result.
- I cannot wait for Prison Break tomorrow. I heart LJ Burrows so much.
- My car died this weekend.
kissedbythegods is probably laughing/feeling bad right now because she heard its sickly attempts at starting a few weeks ago. Well, yesterday those subtle sputtering noises turned into some weak lights on the dashboard and a lot of very loud clicking. The good thing about this: It died in the garage in the basement of our apartment building rather than some random place where it could perhaps have left me stranded in the middle of the night. The bad thing about this: I have perhaps the busiest 3 weeks of my life starting tomorrow. Actually, technically the madness started today but it sounded gramatically incorrect to put the word "today" at the end of that sentence. Try it, you'll see.
- I'm acting as a peer advisor for my school's academic orientation for the next 2 days which means tomorrow I have to be at school at 7:30. 7:30. And I have to leave even earlier than I would have normally because we don't have a car. This means I have to get up at, like, 6:30. That is an UNGODLY hour. I feel sick just thinking about it. Like actually physically ill.
- I guess that means it is time to go to bed. Next entry will be media-centric! Ummmm probably...
