She sits there, holding herself, picking the black from her nails.
She's been crying...and she can't cry anymore.
Her hair falls into her eyes, and her lips are swollen. She bites her bottom lip, to feel the pain, to see if she can still bleed.
For once she has meaning. To sit there and die. She's so wrong.
One arm across her chest, gripping her shoulder, the other - across her stomach. She's holding so tight. She can't let go. Her knees are up. Her shoes point in, and she cannot get close enough to herself. He wont let go.
Attempt to protect me from the elements.
Attempt to protect me from it all.
He'll hold me safe and warm.
He'll hear me when I call.
Walk with me, hold my hand, with the pinkies the way they do.
I'll never leave you.
I'll stay here.
We'll share a secret bond.
Your eyes are so blue, with flecks of green and orange.
Your eyes are like stones.
Your hands are warm, but heart is coal...can no longer hurt anymore...but it's not too late.
Hold my hand, lets die together.
We'll die tonight for love.
