Last night's episode
So last night's episode of One Tree Hill was so powerful! I was in tears all night and at one point I had an anxiety attack. I mean this episode really made you think about what HS is like for some kids and it also made me think about my own HS experience. I wasn't popular by any means, but I never had any moments that made me not want to attend. The way that Mark did the episode was amazing. I am so glad that he didn't make Jimmy out to be a psycho. He was depressed and noone ever bothered to take the time out to talk to him or just be nice. I just couldn't believe it when Dan shot Keith I completely lost it right there. He shot and killed his own brother in cold blood that was just wow. Mark Schawhn wrote some of the best words ever and I am going to post them in this journal because they had a very profound effect or affect lol not sure which on me.
This cruelty, this hatred, how did it find us?
Did it steal into our lives, or did we seek it out and embrace it? What happened to us?
That we now send our children into the world like we send young men to war...
Hoping for their safe return...
But knowing that some will be lost along the way.
When did we lose our way?
Consumed by the shadows,
