God did give you free will, out of love for you. And of course we're not alone! This whole universe was made for us! How is it that ONE planet in this solar system is the ONLY planet capable of producing such mass amounts of life. And do you really want to believe that you came from a piece of slime that came from an accidental collision of a few clouds of gas? God planned you even before he made anything.
Shannon I'm so glad that you believe in yourself and have that confidence but with God nothing is impossible. If your life is good now, having a relationship with Jesus will only make it better. Plus, what happens when you die if you only believe in yourself? Heaven sounds way better. Your life here on earth is a tiny inkling of a moment in the eternity of your life in paradise...Think about it, belief in only yourself is lonely, why not share your lov and you life with someone who has always loved you and always will.
