So easy to Judge
Life's funny....
It's funny that as Christians we get stero-typed as being judgemental and hypocritical....you know why that's funny? cause it's true! I'm very judgemental and hypocritical at times....I suck at loving everyone and forgiving and all that stuff I'm suppose to do.
Why do people, especially Christians feel that it's up to us to make other people worthy to God? How can we do that, when we're not even worthy? I'm def. not worthy! So in my opinion, I'm called to do 3 things:
1. Love people- "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God."- 1 John 4:7
2. Spread the Gospel- " So the word of God spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem increased rapidly, and a large number of priests became obedient to the faith." - Acts 6:7
3. Follow Christ's example, as best as I can and thank God for his grace- " To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps." - 1 Peter 2:21
I need to work on these and less on the judgemental and hypocritical parts of me.... God grant me wisdom
