"I miss the rewarding gaze of a friend from my younger days..."
Darling boy Dan Mangan is playing an all-ages shindig (Facebook event here), and if the talent shows he played in our high school auditorium back in the day are anything to go by, you should be there.
He says:
Hey folks,
Must say I'm quite excited - it all goes down in just a few nights. Corbin and I went and cleaned out Value Village with some junk to decorate the theatre with.
It's rare in Vancouver to have the privilege of playing a gorgeous soft-seater theatre - and I'm really excited to see the other bands. Great music to be sure!
I'm also thrilled to announce that CBC2 will be recording the concert for air! added funtimes.
I also don't play a lot of all ages shows. This is the perfect type of concert for the too-young or the tired-of the bar scene. Grandparents, nephews, nieces, sons daughters, siblings..
