I haven't updated
Again, I manage to never update my lj! It's great! I go in spurts, you watch pretty soon I'll be updating everyday.
So life's been fun! I love my job, classes are going well. That math class I was having trouble in (Elementary Linear Algebra) has begun to make sense to me. I've brought my grade up to a 86% from a 65% since I last updated about that. I got a 90% on a quiz, and a 93% on my "mid-term" even though its not technically the middle of the term. Lessee, what else? Oh yes, I love my job. We finished one of the landscaping job we'd been working on for the past month. This wasn't just any old planting some foliage and laying diamond edging down. This was full blown brickwork construction. We installed series of steps that climbed 5 feet from the driveway. It wasn't just a set of typical steps either, these changed direction 3 times, with 8'x6' 5'x4' and 4'x3' platforms for steps! I saw it at night when dawn and I went for a drive, and got to check out the lights we installed around it too! Man it looks so awesome! Also, the other saturday, I got to drive a 6 wheel drive atv along the perimeter fence of the Daimler Chrysler Proving Grounds in Chelsea. That was fun, the atv can do like 55mph! It was much much fun. And yes I was working, I was spraying weed killer n vines that were growing on the fence cuz they can destroy the fence. Then yesterday I was driving a tractor, mowing down 2 foot high grass back at the tree nursery I work for. That was so fun! I've never been allowed to drive heavy equipment so this has been very exciting for me! It's good stuff to know how to do. We even have a bobcat that I think Bill's gonna show me how to use eventually. He's already had me drive his trucks. He has 2 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4's with Cummin's Turbo Diesel Engines, one of which is a dually with a manual trans. What fun!!! I <3 Trucks!!!
Anyways, so I've been blessed with an awesome job, THANK YOU LORD!!! :-D ha ha ha! I'd venture off to say this job's almost more fun than Schoolcraft was. Unbelievable. Well I gotta clean out my fish tank! Later!
