Two little dolls from Russia
These are two little dolls made by Elena Gonchar, who is SantezStoYries on Etsy. I bought two dolls based on the dolls in this picture, and unfortunately the package went astray once it hit the US. It ended up going to the "lost mail center" in Atlanta, where presumably it still is. We did all we could to get the package back - filled out search requests from both ends, and sent pictures of everything - it still has a tracking number on it. But so far USPS has not updated us. So...Elena sent a second package, with the original dolls that she does custom copies of. They're absolutely wonderful - tiny little people - 5 inches tall and so alive. This is a very bad picture of them - sorry - on my desk the day they arrived. But I'll have other pics, especially as I have a little diorama for them, and soon some fun little props as well. The redhead is called "Daughter" and she has a young, angsty expression - very intense (oh, the drama!) The raven haired gal is "La Parisienne" - a bit more mature and oh-so-chic young woman. I love them both!
