April, Fool!

I can't believe what I see. It's April already! I'm so scatter-brained right now being it was the first day of school since Easter Break. One of the lovely perks of being a teacher are the lovely breaks from working life. I don't know how I'd deal with any other job without the 3 month long break in the middle of the year. It's nice. I can't complain...but please don't ever say my job is easy. Some fool on the message boards was saying how "easy" it is to be a teacher because of our vacations and easy coursework. I'd like to take this ignorant nutjob and have him sub for my class for a day.

Anyway. I'm feeling the ADD right now-

*I'm totally loving Ollie's "I-want-mommy-and-ONLY-MOMMY!" phase. I know it sucks for everyone else but it tickles me when she grabs me and shrieks for me to hold her safe. *SIGH*

*Spring break was lovely. Finally experienced Taco Tuesdays in PB. Took Ollie to the beach where she stared in awe of the surfers (must've thought her daddy was out there) and bought her lots and lots of cutie-patootie clothes that make you want to tear your hair out because it's so cute.

*We met Cesar Milan. THAT was cool. I took my dog-loving cousin and family to watch Mateo's training and guess who was there? The Dog Whisperer himself with his pearly white teeth and thick accent. He wanted to hold Ollie and was smitten by her cuteness but someone was being a little diva and didn't want to be carried by him.

*Took Ollie to Disneyland. She's sooooo cute!

*Saw familia from Chicago and took them around. I then realized how much Crystal and I LOVE doing the whole tourist thing even though we're locals. Hmph.

*Saw my dad whom I haven't seen in years. That was kind of nice for Ollie to meet her other Grandpa.

*I can't believe how much I love Tuna Sandwiches. Probably the only downside to being pregnant is the measly 3 oz. or something of tuna you're allowed to consume PER WEEK! That's just ridiculous.

*I'm looking forward to Shelly's maternity photoshoot she's asked me to take for her. I've always wanted to start a portfolio but life is too crazy for me to get to it.

*Spring break was too short. I'm ready for Summer.
