text messages are fun!
this was the latest text message convo between me and mike. he's pretty awesome.
Joy: So there's this one boy...and I kind of love him.
Mike: Oh yeah! Tell me about him!
Joy: Well...he's super cute. He acts tough but he's just a big teddy bear. He's a total rockstar. He's pretty much the best thing that ever happened to me.
Mike: Wow! He sounds amazing!
Joy: Oh, amazing doesn't even begin to describe him. He's phenomenal. I wish he was here right now. But he lives pretty far away.
Mike: Oh I bet he can't wait to see you. He must love you a ton!
Joy: I sure hope so, and I hope he knows how much I love him. I miss him a lot. I think about him pretty much all the time.
Mike: Well a little yellow bird told me that he thinks that you are totally awesome and way cool, and that he must be like the most lucky guy ever!
Joy: Wow...I think I like this little bird!
Mike: I love you babe.
Joy: I love you too baby! I'll call you in awhile to say goodnight.
it was a hell of a weekend. spent friday with shawna shopping for valentine's day and working on mike's freaking awesome valentine's day present. i love to make things for people. it's my ultimate favorite. and shawna is my new craft buddy. she's very good at it i must say. and... i found these sweet candy hearts that are in spanish...and that makes me super excited. later that night laura and heather came with us to deja vu to go to the sex shop and buy fun stuff. oh yes, fun stuff.
saturday was a wonderfully lazy day and i did homework while heather painted. i wish i could paint. then i decided to say screw it and buy plane tickets before the prices went up, even though i still have no idea if he's still going to be in utah by the time spring break hits. whatever. but when i called my parents to ask for a ride to the airport my mom and i got into a huge fight. after 45 minutes of yelling and crying, i decided i need to have a little fun. that i did. a little too much. the tequila got the best of me and i spent much time with my head in the toilet. but i needed it.
spent sunday morning hung over and sunday evening watching the super bowl. and now it's monday, back to the grind. i really don't mind my classes though, for real. this semester is decent. and the workload is not too much. things are good.
valentine's day is a week from tomorrow!!! and utah in 23 days (cross your fingers for me)!!!
