Oh Happy Days
Well I don't know if it made the National News but, we were recently given fake Flu SHots at the recent ExxonMobil Health and Safety Fair. They told us at work through emails and Information sessions that the FBI informed the company that there was an investigation into the flu shot given to employees and contrators. They even took blood from us to test for bloodborne pathogens. Turns out the shots were just purified water and the guilty party who supplied these viles was arrested and charged with medical fraud. Still unsure about the needles that were used which is why we were told to have blood test done to set a baseline. But I think everything is going to be fine it is just a shame that people set out to scam folks and leave them vulnerable to getting the flu just trying to get rich. Shots for over 1500 people at $20 bucks a pop and that is just at our site. It is still unknown how many other locations this man provided the fake flu shot too.
