So that's what the elevator does when it ain't working right. Wasn't bad.
Don't suppose anyone know how long it's been? Or if Blood or Squall are still around? Dunno how the disappearing thing goes.

Something to drink would be good I guess.
[You know. So she has something to do with her hands besides cry all over him.]
I'll be right over!

[She closes her journal and sets it aside. He's alive... He's really alive... Wiping her eyes she grabs her boots and tugs them on before heading out the door towards Housing. It's a bit of a run and outside his door she fixes her hair and rubs some color back into her face from the cold before knocking.]
Rukongai...?

Yep. Come on in.
[After she's entered he secures the door so the cold can't get in, and crosses over to get glasses of water. She doesn't strike him as the drinking type, not really.]
You been good? Ain't had too much happen to ya?

[Awkward, awkward as she steps in and fidgets by the door.]
...I got some curtains!
[...This is the stupidest thing ever to say, but it sounds so much better than "you were gone for weeks and zombies attacked and I was afraid they ate you please don't leave me alone like that again".]
...Sorry. What happened with the elevator?

[Not one for awkward standing around, Rukongai gestures at the couch.]
Relax. Ain't gonna bite. And. Uh. Good about the curtains?
[He sits down when she asks.]
Not a lot. Doors didn't open in the residential area. Wound up on tha 4th floor, seperated from tha complainin' guy. Had a sword and got ta fight a lot o' creatures that felt familiar. Liked that. Then the sword vanished after a bit, so I was fightin' fewer. Then the elevator was lettin' me out in the right spot again.

Oh... So... you were alright the whole time.
[Some of the tension goes out of her and she leans her head back with a sigh.]
You really had me worried! What kind of creatures were you fighting?
Reply
Yep. Liked it. Didn't have time ta sit 'round and wonder 'bout the whys of a place. Just fought an' had fun.
[He frowns.]
Sorry. Didn't have any sort o' choice. And I ain't sure. All o' 'em had holes in their chests and bone masks on, but other'n that, they were a lotta different shapes.

[She draws her legs up on the couch and wraps her arms around her knees, though she's careful to keep her shoes off the furniture. Laying her head on her knees she thinks a bit. Those don't sound like the zombies that were in the tree... something different...]
Mm... So it was a lot of fun? You really like to fight, don't you.

[He leans back, watching her. It's weird to have someone who worried about him. Rukongai's not sure he's ever had that.]
Yep. It's tha thrill. Means yer alive. Nothin' like it. Whatcha like?
