I know there are some Muse fans on my flist so, brief concert post. :D Last night Philip and I went to see them. It was a HUGE stadium and almost totally full -- I think there were a few seats left over in the back. Last time I went to a show that big was years ago!
They played a mix of older and newer songs, mostly new but with a lot of my favorite classics. I think I can list them all:

I think the only song they didn't do that I wish they had was Butterflies and Hurricanes. Love that song. Most of their new stuff was totally awesome live. It was also super insane with special effects, which I guess was necessary in that huge of an arena. Some of them were awesome and some made me lol, like when giant balloons decorated to look like eyeballs filled with confetti came down from the ceiling. I wonder whose idea that was. XDD
The most amazing thing was how perfect they were. It sounded like a recording. Except you knew it wasn't. Matt Bellamy has the most amazing voice ever and it's just as good irl. Amazing how he can project above the loudness and how just three dudes can make so much noise. XD I was also impressed by their drummer, whom I've never paid much attention to before. :)
So, that was a good time. I've been hoping to see them for years, so I'm glad I finally did!!
