1. Haru! This is my precious Taeyang doll Haru. My favorite of my 17 dolls. He's got a bag of panda candy because he only eats sweet things, much like his father, L from Death Note. Haru was originally an OC I invented for an epic Death Note semi-AU fic and he's blossomed into his own mini-fandom, really. :3
2. L grabbing Light! I love their faces. Light looks vaguely uncomfortable, which I always enjoy. I don't know who did the original fanart, unfortunately.
3. Art by Audrey Kawasaki, one of my favorite artists. She does most of her paintings on wood, including this one. I particularly liked this image because of the girl's pose and the juxtaposition of the bird..it's just a lovely painting that had a good composition for an icon. I've actually been considering retooling all my icons since I only have 15, and making them all AK paintings.
4. Dun ta dun dunnnn - dun ta dun...it's Indiana Jones of course, one of the coolest dudes of all time, and since I'm an archaeologist (sorta) I needed an Indy icon to remind myself how cool that was. :) If only my life were more like his. XD Well maybe not. Who knows.
5. I can never get enough of this icon; I use it all the time. First, I just love that manga panel of L's "not amused" look. Second, I drink a shit ton of coffee, almost to the point where it might as well be crack, so I find it quite useful. I also use it for all things hilarious and cracktastic, as well as for when I'm annoyed.
6. Awww, Christmas puppy! I just love the sheer cuteness of this. It got it from some stock icon comm. I no longer have this in my icon queue, sadly, since it'll be awhile before Christmas comes again. It was also my facebook profile pic for the month of December.
