I don't think Joy paid me much attention before she found me for a wonderful price on DollyMarket...but then she realized I was everything she wanted in her next doll!
Joy: Yes, I saved $40 on her brand new from someone who had bought her and then decided she didn't want her. Angelique is one of those dolls I never would have bought full price, but one day I saw owner pics of her and realized her face combines the things I love most about Xiao Fan and My Melody. In fact I realized I loved her even more! Now I no longer need to obsess over those two!
I sort of like her stock...it looks great with her hair color, but does it look too cheap and too anime? I don't like her boots much and there's just something about the purple part of the dress that annoys me even though I love a lot about it. I can't decide. I couldn't bond with her until I started changing her clothes. I want her to be Bijou, not Angelique. I'm tempted to sell her stock dress since most people keep it and there seems to be a demand for it on DM wantlists...but I really want to keep her socks and petticoat. XD

I can already tell she's going to be a real Lolita girl, unlike my others. I'll definitely hang onto her dress at least til I get some other fancy things for her.

Btw has anyone actually watched Neo Angelique Abyss who can tell me if it's any good? Not like I have time to watch anime anymore but I'm amused I've become one of those people who buy collab dolls without being familiar with the anime they come from.
